2021 Co. Dublin Honey Show and Craft Fair
Now that the Covid 19 restrictions are being relaxed, County Dublin Beekeepers Association have decided to hold it’s honey show on Saturday 6th November 2021. The Honey Show is the highlight of the beekeeping year, and we, Dublin beekeepers, welcome visitors from everywhere to participate in our show.
This year will be a little different to recent years for two reasons:
- Our old venue in Rathgar is being re-configured and reduced in size, so no longer suitable for our show. We have found a superb new venue in nearby Dundrum – Taney Parish Hall. This venue is bigger, with great facilities including catering, parking, and access – it is a two minute walk from the Luas stop in Dundrum. We are really excited to have such a great venue for future Honey Shows, and the capacity to grow and develop the annual event.
- Whilst excited with our new venue, the ongoing challenge of COVID 19 requires us to factor into our planning the safety and well-being of everyone involved in the preparation and implementation of our show, and the visitors who attend. Certain restrictions will be necessary to achieve this, and it is hoped that this does not detract from the enjoyment of the event.
